Schedule of Classes 

Fall 2016
No registration required, space is first come-first served. Classes beyond “level 101” require experience with the software.

Usage


The Haggard space is open to students in grades 6-12 with parental permission. The Parr space is open to patrons ages 13 and up. Use of the spaces is limited to those who have a Plano library card in good standing. The purpose of the spaces is to provide patrons with access to digital media technologies and to accommodate individual or group multimedia projects.

Parental permission must be noted in Polaris prior to use of the rooms. 

Behavior must be consistent with the library’s Code of Conduct.

Use of the spaces is on a first come first served basis unless previously reserved.

A maximum of 6 people are allowed in the space at any one time. Patrons must be working on digital media projects. Use is limited to 2-hour increments with extended time if no other person has requested use of the room.

Reservations


Patrons may reserve the space up to 1 week in advance for a maximum of 2 hours per day. Reservations can be made at the Information Desk at Haggard Library or Parr Library. Acceptance of the guidelines by parent or guardian and noted in Polaris is required prior to using the room.

Room Responsibility


Users may check out the room with their library card at the information desk. Users who check out the room accept responsibility for the room and its equipment. The individual who checks out the room is considered the main user and is responsible for any misuse or damage to the room, furniture, or equipment, even if a group is working on a project together.

Users must save their work on an external memory device. The library is not responsible for equipment or files (digital or print) left behind by patrons. All files are automatically deleted upon logging off of the computer.
