Council Member Kayci Prince

Kayci grew up in Plano, works in Plano, and she and her husband are raising a family here. She has been working for Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - Plano since 2006 as a marketing and communications professional.

Kayci is a member of the charter class of Plano West Senior High School and served on the student committee that chose the mascot and school colors. After graduating from Plano West, Kayci went on to Southern Methodist University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs with a minor in Political Science. She later received a Master of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M Commerce.

An advocate of volunteerism, Kayci began volunteering in our city in 2008 when she was appointed to the Plano Parks and Recreation Board where she served for five years and chaired for three. She went on to serve on the Plano Planning and Zoning Commission for nearly three years. Kayci has served in numerous other capacities throughout our city, including the Plano Balloon Festival Board, the Plano ISD Alumni Steering Committee and is a graduate of Leadership Plano Class 32. Most recently, Kayci served as a delegate at the Texas Municipal League Policy Summit. She currently serves on the National League of Cities Community and Economic Development Committee, Collin College Foundation Board and is a member of the Christie Elementary PTA. 

Kayci and her husband, Jessie, have been married since 2005 and have two boys. The Princes are active members of Grace Outreach Center in Plano where Jessie has served as a pastor since 2002 and Kayci’s father, Gerald Brooks, has served as Senior Pastor since he and his wife, Geni, started the church in 1982.
