  Make and Take are simple hands-on projects that you can do in the 18st AIRSpace at Harrington Library while you visit with the artist. Step by step instructions and materials for Make and Take are available so that you can still participate on site when the artist is not present

Rae Pleasant uses her extensive collection of vintage garments, accessories, and objects to create character costumes. The character costumes often find their way into illustrations for picture books inspired from traveling the Southwest and New Zealand

Nuray Fuller - Make and Take

Artist - Nuray Fuller
Nuray didn’t start out as an artist, but she has always loved art. She has taken classes and workshops from the masters in Istanbul, Turkey and is working with Ebru, water marbling, an ancient art form from centuries ago

VET incorporates environmental recycling awareness in her artwork. She creates and shares innovative ways to re-think, re-purpose, and re-design discarded items. VET is also an accomplished muralist and published illustrator

Lisa’s work ranges from mixed fiber paintings to wall hangings to handmade books to sculptures. She is currently making paintings and three-dimensional art in mixed media, encompassing wet and dry felting; various dyeing techniques, including shibori in indigo and found objects from nature
