We are excited to announce the 2016-2017 Platinum Arts Season Lineup, comprised of an assortment of local arts groups who call the Courtyard Theater and Cox Playhouse home. Check out the amazing line up that they have put together for you.

This calendar highlights just a small sampling of all of our exciting events. Be sure to check our Full Event Calendar for all upcoming events, updated monthly.

Links to purchase tickets will be posted on each event as they become available.  Ticketing for the majority of these events is managed by the separate presenting production groups and are not managed by Plano Stages.  Tickets from Brick Road Theatre, SHINE, Edge Dance & Performing Arts, and the Men of Note Chorus are available for purchase from Plano Stages.

Campbell is cheer-royalty at Truman High School and her senior year should prove the most cheertastic - she's been named captain of the squad! But an unexpected redistricting has forced her to spend her final year of high school at the neighboring, hard knock Jackson High School. Despite having the deck stacked against her, Campbell befriends the dance crew girls and, along with their headstrong and hardworking leader Danielle, manages to form a powerhouse squad for the ultimate competition - the National Championships.

It's 1962 - the Beatles have their first hit, James Bond his first film - and Randolph Churchill is holding a luncheon party to celebrate the 88th birthday of his admired but estranged father. Sir Winston is a fading force and there is unfinished business in his loving but dysfunctional family. Meanwhile, the socially inept Dr. Jenkins, a newly appointed research assistant to Randolph, is pursuing his own agenda and forms a surprising bond with the wily Winston. Secrets are revealed, resentments released and new understandings formed, in this fresh and funny perspective on an iconic and larger-than-life family.

The Contemporary Ballet Festival, hosted by balletfoundation, is a city-wide event to bring together local artists to display new choreographic works and study the progressing dance styles in a Lecture Demonstration for dancers followed by a public performance to feature top contemporary choreographers and artists. New York guest artists will join the top of Dallas for this annual event.
