We are excited to announce the 2016-2017 Platinum Arts Season Lineup, comprised of an assortment of local arts groups who call the Courtyard Theater and Cox Playhouse home. Check out the amazing line up that they have put together for you.

This calendar highlights just a small sampling of all of our exciting events. Be sure to check our Full Event Calendar for all upcoming events, updated monthly.

Links to purchase tickets will be posted on each event as they become available.  Ticketing for the majority of these events is managed by the separated presenting production groups and are not managed by Plano Stages.  Tickets from Brick Road Theatre and the Men of Note Chorus will be available for purchase from Plano Stages.

A farce

Jeremy and Celia return a week early from their unsuccessful honeymoon to find that both Jeremy’s working partners have accepted his offer to stay in his house while he is away. The only problem is that they have each brought the other’s wife with them! Cue the mayhem as Jeremy and Celia try to sort it all out.

Classical Ballet Festival

This season’s performance of the Classical Ballet Festival marks the 11th annual festival in honor and memory of Madame Nathalie Krassovska. This event joins together five top Classical Ballet companies in the Dallas metroplex with Master Classes, Honor Choreography, Variation Adjudication, Director’s Dinner Party, Performance and Crystal Awards Ceremony. The performance is open to the public and will feature a Mixed Bill with the World Premier, “The Race to Freedom”, libretto by Norma Shields, music composed by Timothy Brown and choreography by Leia Hardimon.

Beauty and the Beast Jr.

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
