All animal complaints are run through the City of Plano Health Department Animal Services Division. To lodge a complaint, please call 972-769-4360 to speak with an officer. We need the exact physical address of the animal complaint. The complaint is then assigned to a field officer who will investigate the complaint and respond within 48 hours. Complaints range from animal cruelty due to a lack of proper food/water/shelter to a nuisance by noise from barking. It is also every citizens right to go to the Municipal Court and lodge a complaint there. Since the Animal Services Division can only act as an information service for complaints, some resolution may be obtained through the Court instead.
