NEW! On-line Certified Food Manager Prep Course
This is a new program provided by the City of Plano Health Department. The program was developed due to the increased appeal and convenience of on-line courses. It will provide a self-study, self-paced course via the internet for those interested in taking the Certified Food Manager Examination. The program follows the same outline of information as the Accredited Certified Food Manager course offered by the Health Department. This is only a preparation course for the examination. The examination can be taken, in person, at the City of Plano Health Department or any Test Site. The fee for the preparation course will be $25 which is below the current market price for preparation courses. CFM Prep Course
ANNOUNCEMENT:
On November 10, 2008, City of Plano Ordinance No. 2008-11-16 was passed increasing certain class fees. Effective January 1, 2009, the following fees were changed:
Food Handler Fees
City of Plano taught Food Handler Class - $20.00
Food handler Class not taught by City of Plano must pay the class fee which varies depending on class plus a $15.00 registration fee to City of Plano Health Department.
