If your citation is in warrant status, you may have the warrant cleared by one of the following:

Posting a Cash Bond (in person)*

Posting an Attorney or Surety Bond

Paying the fine amount in the form of cash, money order, or cashier check ONLY

Calling GPE (GovPay EXP) toll free/24 hours @ 1-888-604-7888. You will need to give GPE the following information:
o PLC # 1530
o Amount to be paid
o PID # or Warrant Number

Effective November 1, 2008, you may make your warrant payments online through GPE. You will need the above-mentioned information to complete your transaction. Click this link: www.governmentpayment.com .

GovPay EXP is an independent company that charges a fee for its service. The Municipal Court receives no part of that fee.
* Warrants will remain active unless the fine is paid in full.
* In accordance with Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, Art. 27.14(c),
case payment will result in waiver of a jury trial and a finding of guilty,
which may be reported to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
NOTE: Payment through GPE will result in a conviction on your driving record if you have not previously entered a plea. Payment through GPE may NOT be used to process Driving Safety Course or Deferred Disposition options.
