The Plano Centre recognizes our responsibility to our community and is committed to providing environmentally conscious choices to our customers. 

• We have recycling containers throughout the event space.
  
• Our recycling program includes paper, plastic, aluminum, glass and cardboard.
   

• We offer easy access to public transportation or shuttle services.

• We use recycled paper products when available.

• We strive to improve our energy efficiency through sensors and timers to control lighting and programmable thermostats to control HVAC in rooms.

• We strive to reduce our water and electrical needs through employee awareness and purchasing more efficient equipment.  Employees turn off lighting when rooms are not in use.  Restrooms have been refitted with environmentally conscious toilets and faucets.

• We buy and use recycled and recyclable products and reusable versus disposable goods. 

• We purchase in bulk when possible to avoid unnecessary packaging waste

• We use eco friendly cleaning products with low toxicity.

• We seek suppliers who practice sustainability.

• We have eliminated the use of all foam products.

• We offer sustainable seafood choices to our guests

• We purchase local or regional food products when available

• We have a food composting program in place.

• The City of Plano Environmental Sustainability Department offers environmental training and programs to help us help our planet.
