The girls of Troop 437 decided to make the Plano Animal Shelter the focus of their Bronze Award project. On three separate weekends, they made homemade dog treats and then sold them at the dog park. The girls used the money to purchase 7 Kuranda beds for the shelter (Kuranda beds are durable, washable, sling beds that keep the dogs off of the floor.) They also spent many hours making fleece cat blankets, dog toys, and happy sock cat toys.
