LLS serves senior citizens in Plano through volunteers who present programs to the residents of local care homes. The programs are presented once a month for 30 - 60 minutes at each care home. The volunteers make up their own programs and often share among themselves. Programs are based on library materials; i.e. books, poetry, short stories, etc. Volunteers also meet monthly to share ideas, programs and challenges.
