2009 Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing (HPRP)

The 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) included HUD funding that was directly allocated to the City of Plano for the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-housing Program (HPRP).  HPRP is focused on housing for homeless and at-risk households. It will provide temporary financial assistance and housing relocation and stabilization services to individuals and families who are homeless or would be homeless but for this assistance.  HUD allocated $509,050 in HPRP funding directly to the City of Plano. The City of Plano will spend these funds in accordance with the HPRP Substantial Amendment to the 2008 Action Plan submitted to HUD on May 15, 2009.

Applications for these funds must be submitted via the City of Plano’s Request For Competitive Sealed Proposal (RFCSP) process below. The RFCSP and its attachments are below:

The City of Plano will have a Pre-Proposal Conference at 10:00 am on Monday, June 22. The meeting will be held at the Plano Municipal Building located at 1520 K. Ave in Training Room A.
