The Plano Police Department has begun a new campaign called “Pay Attention for Prevention” to alert drivers to the dangers of “driver inattention.” This campaign includes a series of on-line videos , featuring tips and information to help keep drivers safe.
New On-line Programs for Citizens
As part of our continuing commitment to provide outstanding police services to the community, the Plano Police Department provides several new on-line services. These programs are quick, easy, and free. We invite you to explore these new programs by clicking on the links provided below.
CrimeReports.com is a crime alerting and Mapping service that provides easy to read incident crime maps and automated alerts to the citizens of Plano.

OffenderWatch.com provides on-line access to search for the presence of registered sex offenders in proximity to homes, places of work, schools and day-care centers.

PoliceReports.us provides on-line access to motor vehicle crash reports.
Reports are available for accidents that occurred after August 1, 2007. You must have two out of three pieces of this information: the report number, the date of the crash, the name of one of the drivers. The cost of a motor vehicle crash report is $5.00 whether obtained via the Internet, in person or by mail.
