As an alternative to the following Police Incident Blotter information, we offer CrimeReports.com program, a crime
alerting and mapping service that provides easy to read incident crime maps and automated alerts to the citizens
of Plano.

Current Police Incident Blotters:

This on-line service displays information regarding allegations of criminal behavior reported to the Police within the
City of Plano. All information posted to the blotter is preliminary and subject to change. Data provided for
each alleged incident includes the location, date, time, and type of incident. Each reported incident is assigned
an incident number.

The following incident blotters will not contain detailed information regarding the incident and incidents involving juvenile victims and sex offenses have been excluded. Specifically, the incidents types excluded from these blotters include: Injured Juveniles, Juvenile Problems, Runaways, Child Abuse, Child Neglect, Mental Subjects, Overdoses, Sex Assaults, Sex Offenses, Prostitution, and Attempted Suicides.

This information is released by the Plano Police Department's Public Information Officer David Tilley. Officer 
Tilley may be contacted via e-mail at davidti@plano.gov or telephone at 972-941-2433.

The Public Information Officer is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Public Information Officer On-Call Policy:

The Public Information Office strives to be responsive and professional, acting in compliance with the Texas Public
Records law and in the best interest of the agency, the news media, and the citizens of Plano. Routine media
inquiries and records requests are handled as expeditiously as possible during normal business hours. After hours
and on weekends, a PIO is always on-call for emergencies and for significant breaking news events.

After hours, the on-call PIO will generally not have information regarding non-fatal car crashes, routine arrests,
crimes not resulting in death or critical injury, or the status of cases that are not considered breaking news.

Written records, including arrest affidavits, arrest reports, and event reports are not made available to the PIO's
after hours or on weekends.

On-call PIOs should be contacted only in situations.
