Punishment consists of a specific number of community service hours. A range of hours for each offense is determined from the grid system, which establishes consistency and is based on the nature of the offense. The Teen Court jury will assess community service hours based on the facts presented. Defendants are given 90 days to complete their sentence. Failure to complete the sentence will result in the case being returned to the Municipal Court.
