Located near the center of our community, south of the intersection of Spring Creek Parkway and Custer Road, Memorial Park is a special neighborhood park and the home of the Veterans Memorial.
The park is nine acres of beauty incorporating a winding creek, recreational trails and a neighborhood playground.
The park includes many trees adopted in honor of friends and loved ones. It is also the site of our Veterans Memorial and will host recognition areas in the future for national and local leaders.
May 20 - Please forgive our temporary rough look-germination is going on with native grasses and it takes a while. Thank you for your patience.

Veterans Memorial
On November 11, 2008 the Veterans Memorial was dedicated in a ceremony honoring those who serve, and have served, our country. The memorial includes the flags of each branch of service, the POW/MIA flag, the flags of the City of Plano and the State of Texas along with the flag of the United States of America. The official seals of each of these organizations are included along the arched walkway around the memorial.
The centerpiece of the Veterans Memorial is the sculpture, "Sacrifice," by artist David Newton. This bronze sculpture brings to life the service of military figures and their families. One statute depicts military personnel attending to a wounded comrade. The second depicts a family with a service man. It is interesting to note the use of dog tags in each statue.
