NEWS BRIEF

FIREWORKS ARE PROHIBITED WITHIN THE PLANO CITY LIMITS.  City Ordinance states by law the possession, manufacture, storage, sale, handling and use of fireworks is prohibited with persons facing fines up to $2,000 for possession alone.  Residents and visitors are encouraged to join the All-American Fourth of July community celebration, beginning at 9:30p.m., July 4, 2008, Oak Point Park, just east of the Spring Creek Parkway/Jupiter Road intersection.  Free parking is available at Collin College and the First United Methodist Church.
