Volunteers In Plano

________

January 14, 2012  – MLK Day of Service in Plano

Collin College students partnered with the City of Plano’s volunteer program to join with millions of Americans in service projects, reflecting and acting upon Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s words and life. Collin volunteers helped at City Animal Shelter and Schimelpfenig Library.  In addition, Hunters Glen Baptist Church sent over 40 high school students to serve in the Plano Community Garden and at Harrington Library.  Other service projects for MLK Day took place at Holifield Science Learning Center, Young Cemetery, City House and the Habitat ReStore. Thanks to all who came out to serve Plano!
