    Our second workshop session will be focused on Mediation and Conflict Resolution. This is open to both voluntary and mandatory neighborhood groups. Come with your questions and our subject expert will provide you with answers. Role playing exercises will help make you an expert on conflict resolution! As space is limited, and we would like to have a variety of groups attending, we are limiting participation to 2 representatives per neighborhood. Please RSVP with your name, neighborhood name, and type of association (mandatory, voluntary), at best@plano.gov by Monday, August 14th. Dinner will be provided.

    Registration for fall classes begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday, August 5 for Plano residents and at 5 a.m. on Monday, August 7 for everyone else. Classes begin the week of September 4. Swim, hike, dance, do tai chi and yoga, brush up on computer skills, paint, sew, kayak or learn to paint...these opportunities and more can be found in the Fall 2017 Leisure Catalog.

    "Stories & Legends" presents various contemporary art primarily depicting animals and machinery as representatives of an underlying message in each piece. Each painting is meticulously designed and executed to created an immersive, thought-provoking experience for both art novices and experts alike. Joseph LaBarre is a self-taught artist who began drawing recognizable figures at the age of 3. He regularly participates in small group shows in the Rockwall and Forney areas. "Stories & Legends" is his first solo exhibition.
