Plano’s Public Safety Communications Department (PSC) Designated as a Flagship Agency

The designation is reserved for those who epitomize excellence in operations, as reflected through CALEA’s accreditation process.  “We are excited to go through our first re-accreditation process with flying colors and to be honored as a Flagship Agency,” said PSC Director Ron Timmons.  “Our team of 82 employees works diligently to ensure each call is expedited with the level of care and professionalism our residents expect and deserve.”  PSC serves as Plano’s primary emergency call center, receiving 911 calls and dispatching Fire, Emergency Medical and Police services.
