Plano Independent School District’s Social Emotional Learning Exhibit, Grades K - 12 On display now through March 23. Reception: March 23 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Courtyard Theater Gallery.
Social emotional learning is an educational process through which skills for life effectiveness are intentionally taught and modeled in a safe, supportive, and culturally responsive environment. In Plano ISD, we will grow to understand and manage emotions, care for self and others, develop empathy, build resiliency, and solve problems effectively and ethically. Social emotional learning will empower students to become responsible, productive and contributing members of the global community.
With shows rotating every 6 to 8 weeks, the Gallery@Courtyard provides an intimate examination of a wide variety of art forms and mediums from local artists. The gallery is typically open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Depending on events and staffing, these hours may be adjusted without notice.
