Vendor Registration

The City of Plano Procurement and Project Management Department strives to garner competition that produces the highest quality goods and services at the lowest possible price, whether the item or service is subject to bid or not. In doing so, the City encourages all vendors to register in our online electronic bidding system to ensure access to current and upcoming opportunities.

We post solicitations on an electronic e-procurement system called IonWave. If a vendor is not already registered with IonWave, we encourage them to complete the registration process. This will help ensure automatic notification of bid opportunities that match with the good and/or services that the vendor’s firm offers.

Vendors can go directly to IonWave. Registering for IonWave is at no cost to the vendor and if there are any issues with registration, please contact Ionwave’s Customer Service directly at 866-277-2645.

Additional information is also available online on the Purchasing homepage. To access this page, visit our website located at www.plano.gov/purchasing.

Also, please see the Guide for Suppliers for reference, which provides information on how the City conducts business and how to do business with the City.
