Computers & Printing
Computer access is available for one 2-hour session per day on a first come-first served basis. The complete policy regarding use of public computers is part of the library card application and is also available here (PDF).
Temporary Computer Access
Temporary computer access only library cards, not to exceed 30 days, will be made available to out-of-town visitors, excluding residents of: Collin, Dallas, Denton, Fannin, Grayson, Hunt and Rockwall counties.
Internet and Wi-Fi Use
A Plano library card is required to utilize the Internet and Wi-Fi service. The complete policy regarding Internet and Wi-Fi use is part of the library card application and is available here (PDF).
Wireless Printing Instructions
Opens a New Window. Use your email address to print wirelessly (PDF) from your personal device, no library card needed.
Wireless Public Internet
Free public wireless is available at the five Library locations. Please note the following:
- A valid Plano library card and PIN number are required for Wi-Fi access.
- The connection is filtered.
- Library staff members are not permitted to assist patrons with connectivity issues or user computer issues of any type.
- Patrons are responsible for understanding and configuring their own equipment.
Davis, Harrington and Parr Libraries
Objects are printed in ABS thermoplastic 1.75mm filament in a single staff-selected color with a PolyPrinter 229. Size limit is 8.75” x 8.75” x 8.75” and cost is $.20/gram.
