Animal Services

  1. Clear The Shelters

    August 17, 2019, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Plano Animal Shelter

Our biggest event of the year is back! We're excited to once again be participating in Clear The Shelters! Join us Saturday, August 17, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. when adoption fees will be waived for this one day event! In order to adopt a pet from the Plano Animal Shelter, you must have a valid, government issued, photo ID, $10 to register their pet with the City of Plano (if you live in Plano) and if you rent a home or an apartment, you'll need a copy of your lease agreement or letter from your landlord giving permission to adopt an animal and listing any prohibited breeds. Additionally, all animals adopted from the Plano Animal Shelter (at any time) will be spayed or neutered, have a microchip, have their first set of vaccines, have a heartworm test and have a collar and tags. Don’t forget to stop and grab a new family photo on your way out!

Over the first term, Matilda and Miss Honey have a profound effect on each other, as Miss Honey begins to recognize and appreciate Matilda's extraordinary personality. Matilda's school life isn't completely smooth sailing, however - the school's mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don't abide by her rules.
